Was born in Pavlikova, Czech Republic in 1936. He was a student at the Prague Academy of Fine Arts, where he graduated graphics. From 1967 (Bienale of graphic arts in Ljubljana) he has been exhibiting internationally. He has won multiple awards for his work in graphics.
