Ferdo Kovačević

(Zagreb, April 10, 1870 - Zagreb, September 1, 1927)

Studied at the School of Arts and Crafts in Vienna (K. Karger). He was a professor at the School of Crafts since 1905 and at the Academy in Zagreb since 1917.

In Zagreb, he participated in decorating the building of the Department of Worship and Teaching and the University and National Library. He is a co-founder of the Society of Croatian Artists.

He exhibited with Bukovec's Circle in Zagreb in 1894 and 1898 at the Croatian Salon, and in Paris, Prague, Belgrade and Sofia. He has participated in exhibitions of Lada and the Croatian Society of Arts.
