Vjekoslav Vojo Radoičić

Born in 1930 in Pozega.
He was a full member of the Croatian Society of Artists from Rijeka and Zagreb, and VBKO (Verein Bildenden Kunsler Osterreich, Vienna-Schonbrun).
He created paintings, small sculptures, illustrations for children, applied graphics and textile design.
He had more than 160 one-man exhibitions at home and abroad.
Vojo Radoicic has produced over 50 scenes for television and theater in the country and abroad.
He has received numerous awards and prizes for contribution to culture. In 2002 he was nominated for the “Hans Christian Andersen” award for illustration. He died in RIjeka on the 15th of July 2017, aged 86.
